Focaccia bread recipe

Recipe By @rawanshehs

Woke up in the morning thinking what recipe shall I make next and BREAD was the first to come into my mind, mostly because bread is life! Sharing this focaccia bread recipe with you that I hope you’d LOVE❤️

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour, sieved
1 cup brown flour, sieved
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder (I added 1 tsp Cz I looooove garlic)
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp Italian spices
1 tbsp dried thyme
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup of warm water, mixed with 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp of yeast (left for at least 10 mins)
Optional toppings; cherry tomatoes, green olives, fresh thyme
Extra olive oil to drizzle in the end .

Instructions:

1. In electric mixer, add in flours, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian spices, dried thyme and mix with 2 tbsp of olive oil till crumbs form (it’ll still be a dry mixture so don’t worry). Add in the yeast water mixture gradually till a dough forms and let mixer spin till dough holds up itself. (If you’re using your hands, just keep kneading for 7-10 mins). Cover with plastic and towel and let it rest at room temperature for an hour.

2. Brush olive oil on baking pan then place rested dough on it, spreading to each corner of the pan. Poke your fingers on dough. Place toppings of your choice. Cover with towel and pre-heat oven to 200°C. 15 mins after the dough has been rested, place into heated oven and bake till golden (might take 20 mins). Once done, drizzle some olive oil of top of the bread then enjoyyyy?
